Human Resources Manager - Shelton, CT
BTX Global Logistics is seeking a Human Resources Manager with strong interpersonal skills and experience driving employee engagement and overall well-being. This position is located in BTX’s Corporate Office in Shelton, CT, and is responsible for overseeing various Human Resources functions.
Responsibilities Include:
- Processing Weekly Payroll
- Recruitment of New Candidates
- Onboarding of New Employees
- Performance Monitoring
- Employee Relations
- Employee Counseling
- Compensation and Benefits Administration
- Training and Development
- Development and Administration of Human Resources Policies and Procedures
- Other Human Resources initiatives as necessary
Summary of Experience and Education Required:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related degree
- Three to five years of Human Resources experience with a medium to large size business
- Experience with a major payroll processing company
- Experience with managing 401K programs and familiarity with ERISA requirements
- Multi-state employment experience
- SHRM certification a plus
