Domestic Operations (MCO - Orlando, FL)
BTX Global Logistics, a full-service transportation and logistics company headquartered in Shelton, CT, is seeking a Domestic Operations Representative to join their team. This is an in-person position located in Orlando, FL. The Domestic Operations Representative will be responsible for facilitating all domestic pricing opportunities. This position will report to the Orlando Station Manager.
Responsibilities Include but Not Limited To:
- Set-up and/or amend shipments based on client directives including domestic services, LTL, FTL, and Airfreight.
- Obtain competitive and unique pricing solutions that satisfy clients’ requests.
- Input milestone/tracking updates.
- Provide updates to the client throughout duration of shipment transit.
- Fulfill specialized requests provided by client within the expected timeframe communicated.
- Ability to sustain working relationships with shippers and general knowledge of shipper lanes.
- Knowledge of domestic forwarding ground carriers, commercial airlines, and cartage.
- Summary of Experience and Education:
- Minimum 3 years hands-on experience withing a Freight Forwarding environment
- High School Degree or equivalent – required
- IATA DG Certification – preferred
- Experience with Domestic Operations – required

- Advanced experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint.)
- Analytical problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of TSA regulations.
- Working knowledge of all aspects of Domestic Freight Forwarding.
